Thaddeus Turner is one of my incredible mentors. He plays basically every instrument ever (and each one of them fantastically) and is one of the most sarcastic, funny, kind people I’ve ever met. He’s made all kinds of music with all kinds of people (he’s toured with Lauryn Hill and is currently the music director for the Digable Planets and he’s the co-founder of Totem Star, the youth arts nonprofit where I came up) and his advice is invaluable. He’s always there for you when you need him and always plays like a beast.
