Daniel Pak is my mentor. He’s taught me everything from singing technique to the belief that I am a valuable person. Pak helped me create a sense of identity and community through music and at this point he’s family. He’s been my producer and guitarist, and now, ever since hiring me as Fundraising and Development Manager at Totem Star (the arts nonprofit he founded, where I got my start), he’s my boss.
